How you will make life easier for hundreds of millions of storytellers worldwide:

Storykit is looking for a next-level, talented and hard-working Product Designer (UX/UI) to become a major cornerstone in our ongoing journey. We are already a well-used and beloved tool for thousands of users so we’re looking for a passionate, user centered person that has the design skills to help us the team take the tool to even greater heights.

You will join an ever-growing team of product people and engineering stars – and you will be working both horizons as well as have a lot of autonomy with the design team to form how the future of Storykit looks. And feels. 

Your responsibilities include:

• Visualizing the product roadmap with designs.
• Creating business crucial and user-centered design, based in business understanding, UX best practices and user feedback.
• Creating user flows and customer journeys.
• Creating mockups, wireframes and prototyping.
• Creating and managing style guides and overarching libraries.
• Cooperate with product management in creating epics and issues for engineering teams.
• Cooperating with customer success and growth teams on user feedback and conversion issues.
• Over time potentially leading more specialized UI designers in their roles.

Who are we looking for - really?

We are looking for someone who runs the whole gamut from idea to execution, Storykit is built on people that have ideas and that want to see those ideas through – we are hands-on from top to bottom. So you need to be a doer and a thinker – not one or the other, someone who can move freely between different abstraction levels of a challenge.

If you read this and go “yeah, that sounds like me” you probably have experience from being the one and only designer in some process, someone who quickly understands the challenge and even more quickly can translate it into solutions. Someone who loves to visualize the result and works by visualizing it for others. You are a builder, not just an architect.

Today, you’re probably already fast at work doing these types of things – but you are hungry for a new challenge. You want to join a company that has a great product-market fit, that is creating tools for thousands of users, that is idea-driven and not in the searchlight phase of trying to find a market. Perhaps you’re even kind of fed up with the existential questions of the being of a product and want to be a part of actual, real discussions about creating something that already has people going “Wooow! Wow, wow, wow – that is fantastic!” when they get a product demo (We’ll show you the clips.)

In addition to this, we believe that you have:

• 5+ years relevant prior experience of UX/UI design for (pref. B2B) digital solutions.
• A strong portfolio of related projects.
• Strong skills in the use of modern design tools (e.g. Creative Cloud and Figma).
• Skills in prototyping and frontend coding.
• Excellent communications and presentation skills.
• You are detail focused but can combine this with the bigger picture.
